Meyrik Farm is completely off-the-grid. We are not connected to council water, electricity, phone or the internet. However, being on a mountain gives us great wi-fi reception.
We have multiple water tanks on Meyrik Farm and have been lucky enough to never run out of water thus far, but we're always looking at improving our water capture methods and improvements in utilization through permaculture.
Meyrik Farm runs on solar and gass which we never have had any issues with. As our battery system is getting old we started researching battery systems and solar panels, so many of our observations here will be from our research and what we've found worked.
