This may depend on the type of Xanthorrhoea species. According to Borsboom (2005) Xanthorrhoea australis seeds can remain viable even after 5 years of appropriate storage with temperature and light having significant influence on seed germination.
For Meyrik Farm, we have a tremendous amount of seeds but still have to experiment with how to germinate them and how long they would last.
